Ridin' on Faith is the first step to fulfilling your dream. This is more than a trail ride or
a riding lesson. This is a safe place to begin your journey. The desire of my heart
is for this program to build, strengthen, and encourage a relationship with horses,
Jesus, or both.
Horsemanship Stage 1
 Private and group lessons provide an alternative to horse ownership through our Ridin' On Faith program. Using our horses and facilities, this unique opportunity provides the basics of complete horse care to those who do not own a horse. And if you are planning a horse in your future, our program serves as a preparation to horse ownership before making a commitment to purchase your first horse. A complete overview with all the very basics of:
- safety, care & responsibility
- hands on learning through relationship from the ground to the ride
- horse activities, hand-outs, sports & missions

Horsemanship Stage 2
Take the skills you have learned in Stage 1 and advance to a new level.
- Advanced ground and riding skills and techniques
- Learn to develop a higher level of confidence and communication to more effectively influence the horses movement and responses
- Understand horse behavior, the way they think and deepen the relationship

The Show Ring
It's not all about winning ribbons! It's labor intensive practicing, preparation and primping for both horse and rider. Take the skills acquired from Stage 1 and learn activities including, but not limited to:
- Practicing ground and riding techniques, rider readiness; "the look" proper dress, chaps, etc.
- Advanced grooming such as mane banding, clipping, hoof polishing, "hanging the tail", etc.
- Cleaning and polishing tack, hay bags, shipping boots, trailer loading, the unseen work in preparation for "the show"

Lessons are scheduled for flexibility for those who travel or want to
complete 12 lessons in a short period of time. Call Michele for options.

Ridin’ the Rail Club is for students who have completed Stage 1
$10.00/hr.
Family Discounts are available. Day Camps are available if you do not find group or private lessons fit your desire. |
